The ancient cultural land of spirituality known as Gaya and Bodh Gaya has paved the way for Salvation , Absolute Peace and Infinite Knowledge since time immemorial. Prachin Shree Jagannath temple, Bodhgaya represents the quientessential of Sanatan traditions echoing the message of Universal Brotherhood , Cultural Harmony as well as Religious and Spiritual Highlights of divinely-lit halo of the land.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Rath Yatra is celebrated every year on the second day of Aashadh Shukla Paksha preferably in the month of July in tune with the Rath Yatra of Jagannath Puri , Odisha. Thousands of people participate in the Rath Yatra which starts in the afternoon at the Prachin Shree Jagannath Temple, Bodh Gaya covering different parts of Bodhgaya town and terminates in the evening at Bodh Gaya Math. The entire district becomes festive. Community dinner is organised throughout the year by the Temple Management. The religious discourse, bhajan sandhya on this auspicious occasion adds to the glory of Indianness.
